Court and my granddaughter-2008

My grandson, Court, is the creator of this blog site that has really enriched my life and I am eternally greatful to Court. He is located in Mt. View, California and is always on the cutting edge of technology. His enthusiasm and energy is unmatched and you only need to go to his web site at www.courtrye.com to witness his many endeavors.

My granddaughter's web site can also be seen also be seen at this same site set up again by Court.
They are the children of our son, Randy.

On January 15, 2008 I had an entry on my blog about my granddaughter and her friend, Heidi. Two of the readers of my blog, Bernie and Dick Greene of Sun City related to me that they had a friend whose son was en-involved in the space program also. An e-mail entitled one for Bernie was received from Michelle Pettit with a picture of Heidi and Don tasting space food.(see January 15,2008 post)

Bernie's comment on my blog was as follows:
"I sent Jenne an excerpt form this blog..I knew that she would forward it to her daughter and son in law, Micki and Don Pettit. Meanwhile, Dick and I are thrilled to have a hand in this episode of the Rye Saga featuring my granddaughter.
When does the first book of the series hit the bookstores? How soon after that will the TV and /or movie verson come out?"

My granddaughter wrote" Ha,haa! You are so silly. I love the picture and this blog though.Heidi is such a cheerful and joyous person she makes me smile. If there was anyone that I would chose to go on a long duration mission with it would be her."

My Granddaughter

Well, I was watching the Nasa channel the other night and I saw all of the crew for the November 15th lauch come in on their neat little planes and then the commander introduced each and every one of them.I then went to www.nasa.gov and saw a neat displaying outlining the activities of each day of the flight. It was awesome!!

Why am I telling you all this?? Well, Heidi has invited my granddaughter to witness the launch in person along with her family members!!!!
