The field is ripe unto harvest
One of my dearest friends of the past decade is Celeste Laney of Scottsdale,Arizona. I don't know when we first bonded, but bond we did indeed.
She is always so positive and inspirational that I asked her to speak at my 80th birthday party.
I guess that that was sort of self serving because she always has such nice things to say.
Well, Saturday she called and said that her Grandaughter wanted to meet me. So evidently Celeste had been embellishing stories about me and I was flattered beyond belief.
You see, her grandaughter,ReAnna, has spent the last year in Nairobi and Kenya along with her missionary and educator parents who do outreach programs through their college here in America.
The organization is called FAITH HOUSE INERNATIONAL MINISTRIES, INC. and their- website is www.fhim.org.
If you wish to vicariously travel hand in hand with them please visit this website and as i t is more blessed to give than recieve maybe your heart will be touched with compassion for the The fields that are ready to be harvested. Send me! Send me!
The family members include:parents;Lenora Denise,Mother; Michael Jerome,Father;ReAnna Nicole,Mikuela Denise,daughters, and son, James Michael.
My friend, Celestine Beatrice Burr Laney is the proud Mother and Grandmother.
An unknown author has penned these words:
Chirst has no hands but our hands
To do his work today;
He has no feet but our feet
To lead men in his way;
He has no tongue but our tongues
To tell me how he died;
He has no help but our help
To bring them to his side
We are the only Bible
The carless world will read;
We are the sinner's gospel,
We are the scoffer's creed;
We are the Lord's last message
Given in word and deed-
What if the line is crooked?
What if the type is blurred?
What if our hands are busy
With other work than his?
What if our feet are walking
Where sin's allurement is?
What if our tongues are speaking
Of things his lips would spurn?
How can we hope to help him
Unless from Him we learn?

You are unique, and Celeste recognizes your many attributes. The first two that come to mind are compassion and generosity. The list goes on, and will continue at another time.
