Florence Nightengale

I picked Ramona up at Phoenix's Sky Harbour airport yesterday after noon and we drove by the Maricopa County Hospital where she will be attending a trauma worksop today and tomorrow. After taking another course she will be teaching a trauma course at the new Loveland, Colorado heart hospital. It will be the only hospital in Colorado to be offering the course. She is the charge nurse in ER.

We ate dinner at the Texaz grill and then I took her to the Aracadia area of Phoenix where she will stay at her brother, Dan, Brigid and Summer's home. They are up in Victoria, British Columbia until Saturday. The children's Mother, Donna, is with Brigid, Dan and Summer.

I will have dinner with Ramona tonight and tomorrow night and then I will fly to Colorado with her on Saturday. On Sunday we will celebrate our oldest son, Randy's birthday. He will have reached the half century mark. All who have been fortunate to be within his sphere of influence are indeed enriched, blessed and priviledged. He has been with Hewlitt-Packard since recieving his MBA from Cornell some 25 years ago. This time has been spent in the place he loves best, Colorado.
