Springtime in the Rockies-Sam and Ben
Sam,(7) and Ben,(4) enjoy the drinks served on Randy's deck. They are the children of Lisa and Greg Rye.Later in the day Randy offered the boys the option of taking a nap or flying a model airplane which they all assembled. After some thought the boys opted for the model plane.For four dollars Randy had obtained a plane the would fly three minutes after being charged for 10 seconds by a little battery that was inlcuded. After two or three flights it lodged in a tree but Randy had a long branch trimmer and the right boys were back in the air.
Sam and Ben had recently flown to Seattle and on a float plane to British Columbia and it wasn't long before Sam had two sticks in his hand and was directing the plane into the hanger after landing.
It was hot and humid and I searched out a park bench in the shade to witness the lift offs.

What darling boys! They are off to a good start if guiding planes is a hobby at their young ages. Many family members are setting the tone for the successes of Sam and Ben in any and all endeavors.
