My dearest friend-Celestine

A birthday party, and what a party, was hosted by the Laney family and was a celebration of the life and as a tribute to Celestine B. Laney. The party was held at the Ritz Carlton and was MCed by her talented sons, Michael and Mark.

I am pictured in the lower left hand corner in an earlier picture with Celestine.She is also pictured in the middle with one of her neighbors.
My friend, Ethel, is pictured in the upper right hand of the photo.
Celeste had prepared a collage of pictures for each of the eight tables.

Two of Michael" daughter and his wife were seated at our table. Michael is a West Point graduate and his brother, Mark, has a Phd. in theology and is a faculty member in a Southern college as well as an ordained minister.

Truly, a night of joy and happpiness that linger forever in my heart.
