high emotional state
I will be back in that mood tonight as I attend the D-Back game against the Padres with my son, Dan. The teams are now tied for first place in th Western division and watching the last two games has given me new highs and lows. The teams just don't beat each others, they beat up on each other.
Dan and Brigid have been most generous to me making it possible to see many games this season. This will be the fourth time I've gone with my son and it is a great source of pride and joy. Thanks Brigid, thanks Dan'

It was a major victory to hold the Padres to only 1 run. The D-Backs are still in the thick of things.
Dick and I found the Greek cafe at Camelback and 20th, but it was Labor Day, and the place was closed. We'll go again within the next few weeks.
