Another Helgeson saga,Linda's story

My sister, Vivian Helgeson, and her husband,Don, have four lovely and talented daughters; Jewell was the Mother of Brett who we recognized in a previous post. Emily is a mover and shaker in the rehabilitation center in Bemidji making live more rewarding for many, many people. It is state and federally funded.
Some time ago Jennifer and her friend were moving to Denver from Florida and they stayed with us in Loveland until they got settled in Denver. She meet her husband in Denver and in the last few years moved back to Bemidji so Don and Viv have all of their children in the area. What a blessing for them.

Now, last but not least, I come to Linda. She was on her way to Montana and stopped over in Denver. Greg, who was 15 at the time, and I took her for lunch to the 94th aero squadron, a spin off of an American base in France during WWI. Somewhere there is a picture of these tow heads that would shout out that they were brother and sister and not just first cousins.
I'm a fan of the renasaince fairs that take place around the country and was really excited when I heard that their family all made their own costumes and Linda and here husband were marred at the fair at Shakoope, Mn.

Linda has been serving in the ER unit at the Bemidji hospital for years, raising a family, one son in college and another son in high school and taking on other admirable challenges.
I called my sister, Vivian, last week and Linda and Emily were there hanging pictures for their parents new residence in town, and preventing their parents from taking in stuff that they really had to part with.

Linda, through online classes with some college in Missouri, is in the final stages of becoming a NURSE PRACTISHIONER . What a wonderful accomphlishment, Congradutations Linda.

And that is not all of the story. Somewhere on my blog is a story about the FORTY AND EIGHT.
During world war one, the trains inFrance could hold forty soldiers or eight horses. After the war American veterans started a club with that name. One still exists in Bemidjdi and Don and Viv belong to that club.
One of the things that they do is raise money for scholarships. I believe that Linda received one of these scholarships (undergraduate) as didTheresa, the lovely daughter of Dan and Jewell (Helgeson) Rockensock.
What a wonderful family, indeed!
